Staff scientist Wenhao Sun wins first place at the 2019 Berkeley Lab Research SLAM

Congratulations to Wenhao Sun for winning first place at the 2019 Berkeley Lab Research SLAM for his talk, “Mapping Uncharted Chemical Spaces”. In this competition, participants are challenged to present a compelling three-minute presentation of their research in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. After a round of video submissions, finalists presented their talks to a live audience.

Based on that talk, Wenhao was awarded the first place prize of $3000 out of 12 finalists. Wenhao’s award-winning talk will be uploaded in the next week. For more details about the competition, read here: Berkeley Lab SLAM.
