Benjamin receives 2022-2023 Corrosion Award

Benjamin Lam was recently awarded the 2022-2023 Corrosion Award! This award is supported by an endowment, the payout of which is used to support students working in the area of the science of engineering materials and materials deterioration, corrosion of metals, and corrosion control, or successor fields at UC Berkeley. Benjamin received this honor for his ongoing work studying the mechanism and effects of solid electrolyte corrosion in alkaline environments to understand how to create more resistant materials for Li-Air batteries.
