Professor Gerd Ceder wins 2017 IBA Research Award

Professor Gerd Ceder has been named the recipient of the 2017 International Battery Association (IBA) Research Award, which is presented by IBA for “individuals who have made outstanding accomplishments in battery research”. The award will be presented at the 2017 IBA Meeting in Nara, Japan from March 5-10, where Professor Ceder will be giving a plenary talk on combining Li-excess and reversible oxygen charge transfer to achieve high capacity cathodes.
